62 year old former star of Charlie’s Angels Cheryl Ladd has joined the league of actresses who have undergone facial reconstruction to bring back their youth. Born on July 25th 1951, this singer, actress, and author, rose to stardom when she starred as Kris Munroe in the television series Charlie’s Angels, and a host of other movies. Recently, she has been accused of undergoing plastic surgery to restore her youthful appearance. It is rumored that she has undergone a host of procedures including a blepharoplasty surgery, a facelift, a brow lift, Botox injections and lip fillers. It is also suggested that she may have had a rhinoplasty and lip augmentation as well.
These procedures are evidenced by the fact that she barely has any wrinkles on her face or sagging skin on her neck, despite the fact that she is well into her old age. When she was younger, (around 1978) Cheryl had a more round and fuller face, but in the later years, she seems to have a slimmer, longer and smoother face. She also has fuller well shaped lips, and a smooth, shiny porcelain forehead. Her nose also seems to be narrower and has a shorter bridge, her cheekbones are more pronounced and her jawline also looks quite enhanced.
However, Cheryl has denied having undergone any plastic surgery and insists that the secret to her exuberant and youthful look, is a tight exercise regimen and a very healthy diet. She also added that she was not against plastic surgery, but she did not think it was right for a woman to grow older, then try to make herself look 20 years of age. Her public statement did not however seem to satisfy her fans, and most were of the opinion that she had lied in public. She looks younger than her real age, has as a smooth tightened face, strongly proving the fact that she has been under the knife. Her before and after pictures barely show any difference in her age (she looks like she did when she was 20), and the fact that she does not have any frown or laugh lines despite her age, negate her public statement that she has not had any plastic surgery done.
However, she also opened up to the fact that she has been fighting skin cancer and has had a few cancerous skin cells removed. She has also admitted that she is battling the beginning of rheumatoid arthritis which has also plagued her mother. We hope that she will not go overboard and turn herself into a plastic doll.
