Katie Couric is an American journalist and author born on January 7, 1957, in Arlington, Virginia. She works as a special correspondent for ABC News in news shows like ABC World News, Nightline, 20/20, Good Morning America and This Week. She is also the host of talk show Katie and of a web show called Katie’s Take airing on Yahoo every week.

Katie has been called „America’s Sweetheart“ due to her 15 year long co-anchor role on The Today Show. She has two daughters from her marriage with Jay Monahan who died of colon cancer in 1998, at the age of 42.

Although Katie Couric denies having any plastic surgery procedures done on her, some critics speculate that she owes her youthful appearance to a facelift procedure.

They claim so because her face isn’t saggy but firm and her cheeks are lifted.

She is also allegedly prone to Botox use. According to some, she has regularly injected it around the eyes and on forehead to reduce wrinkles.

There are some pictures appearing on the web which show her forehead before and after the use of Botox. Some fans say that the use has been excessive.
