Raymond Allen ‘Ray’ Liotta, or simply Ray Liotta as he is publicly known, is a 58 year old American actor. He is known for his role as Henry Hill in 1990’s crime-drama “Gooddellas”. He has also won an Emmy and was nominated for a Golden Globe. Ray is still active, with movies coming out in 2013 and 2014.
Public opinion is mostly negative towards Ray Liotta’s ventures into plastic surgery. Rumors about Ray Liotta’s surgeries say that he might have had Botox, a facelift and fillers, which are backed by professionals. Although Liotta denies it, since his appearance in 2007 at a movie premiere with co-stars his own age, speculation has arisen that the actor had gone ‘under the knife’, with reputed doctor Anthony Griffin saying “he might have had something injected in his laugh lines’, which gave a cold look to his face, not allowing him to smile freely. Another area where Liotta may have had fillers, with bad results, are his cheeks, which were never as full naturally. It is also claimed his skin condition is awful, the reason being either acne treatments or a facelift, experts speculate. His lack of facial expression and very stretched skin with no signs of wrinkles also fuel speculation, and sometimes jokes as well, from the public, who don’t understand or disagree with his bid to turn back time.
Another reason for speculation about Ray Liotta and cosmetic procedures is the fact that he shows no signs of aging on his forehead and around his eyes. One of the explanations is obviously Botox injections, but there are also rumors that Liotta might have had surgery to have his eyelids reshaped, something that most likely would not happen naturally. While the public speculates that Liotta might have gone with cosmetic procedures to maintain a youthful appearance as he approaches sixty, his spokesperson has thus far denied the rumors categorically. In 2007, when the first rumors surfaced, they were slammed as his spokespeople said that Ray Liotta had not undergone any cosmetic procedures. The truth of the matter is, Ray does look very different from his younger days, and shows several signs of cosmetic procedures, some of them not exactly flattering. And as much as he may deny those rumors, the public’s general opinion is that Liotta has had surgery, and looks worse, making him a regular feature in failed celebrity surgery case stories lists. Luckily for Liotta, his strategy might be working on some level though, as he still works regularly.
